Tasks is the list where new tasks are stored by default.įlagged Email is an optional list. The only way to add tasks to this list is to assign a reminder or due date to an existing task. Tasks that you create with a reminder or due date will automatically appear in this list. Planned is a Smart List that includes tasks that have a reminder or due date and have not been marked as complete. Important is a Smart List that includes tasks that you've marked as important. You can mark a task as important by right-clicking it and selecting Mark as important, or by selecting the star icon next to it. Suggestions includes tasks that are due today or in the future, are overdue, were previously moved to My Day but not completed, or that might be relevant to start working on.

To see suggested tasks, go to My Day, then select Suggestions at the top of the page. Suggestions are tasks that aren't completed that you might want to add to My Day. Tasks that appear in My Day are stored in other tasks lists, so they aren't deleted when My Day is cleared. Caregivers can also indicate they have performed Tasks by utilizing the Caregiver Mobile Site.Note: My Day is cleared at midnight every night. Office staff sees which tasks were completed via a)Tasks Completed on Calendar or b)Completed Tasks By Date Report.

Note that the Caregiver can only update Tasks three days into the past they cannot mark Tasks into the future or beyond three days. When a Caregiver signs in to view their Schedules in Generations, they have several options including the ability to indicate which Tasks were completed. This is accomplished by editing the appropriate schedule and placing checkmarks in boxes to indicate which Tasks were completed. If you do not use the optional Generations EVV, office staff is responsible for indicating that Tasks were completed. Optional Tasks that are not completed do not trigger an alert. Please note that, because Task Alerts are triggered by a Caregiver calling out, the alert does not function unless you are using Generations EVV. If using Telephony, the system will prompt the caregiver to answer why the required task was not completed by choosing one of the following- Refused, Service Not Needed or Ran out of time.

If Required Tasks were not marked as completed, a Task Alert appears in the EVV Schedules area of Generations.If the Caregiver does not call out, the Tasks will not be marked as completed. When the Caregiver calls out, EVV asks them to indicate whether Tasks were performed or not.When a Caregiver calls in and there are Tasks assigned to the schedule, EVV reads the tasks they are to perform.Here's a little more detail on how Generations EVV works with Tasks: As a result of the phone call, the Tasks are marked as completed automatically and seamlessly. Using the Generations provided toll-free number, the Caregiver places a call out using the Client's phone and indicates which Tasks were completed. While the office staff if responsible for adding Tasks to Schedules, the staff does not have to mark Tasks as recorded. This method is transparent to the office staff. Find the checkbox on the Calendar Options tab. To quickly determine if Tasks are completed, enable the "Show Task Completed Status" in Company Settings.
