The 'Custom' crosshair will remove the 'bloom' crosshair, and add in a centralised shape. Clicking the default will open a drop-down menu where you can select the different kinds of crosshairs you can choose from If you haven't changed it yet, 'type' will currently say Default. It will be in between the Interface and Gameplay section. Go back to settings, and scroll down until you come to the section Crosshair. The crosshair is essentially those white lines you see that show you your bloom (the area your bullets will fly into) when you aren't aiming down sights (ADS). This portion applies to all classes and trust me, these can help a LOT. Note: Do NOT take screenshots of scopes and use those! Most scope images you will find will have the non-design parts transparent, which is why you need to upload the image to a site and use the link of the image.

Feel free to design your own scope (with a transparent background), or to post scopes you like below in the comments for others to use! If you'd like to just use the default scope without any of the black borders, this link here leads to an older version of the default scope without any black borders filling up your sight.

You can even use gifs of animated scopes and play with those! Then, paste the link to your image/gif into the Scope Link URL area, and throw up your game! You'll now have your new scope to try out. You can do this by uploading your chosen scope to discord, imgur, or whatever picture service you like to use. You can change the image of your scope by putting in a link to another image into the area beside scope image setting that says Scope Image URL. This is where things get a little tricky.

You can change this! As you may have noticed, there is an area in the mods folder that says scope image. However, the scope still has the black borders making it a box, which essentially is the image of the scope itself. Disabling it will make it look like this when you scope in with the sniper. Scroll alllll the way down to the section called 'mods'.įrom there, should you want to disable the black area that pops up when you scope in, you should see a setting called scope borders. From the main menu, go to the left-hand bar and go to settings (it'll be at the very bottom). This makes tracking and moving while scoped pretty hard, but you can now disable it. If you don't play hunter, skip over to the next section - that one will can help everyone! When you use the default scope, you zoom in quite a bit and get a scope, but there is also this massive black border filling up everything on your game but the scope. Okay, so custom scopes only apply to you Hunter players.
